December’s featured St Pierre employee is our Massage Therapist Taci!
Taci joined our Spa only few weeks ago, bringing with her years of experience in the wellness industry. Her positivity and energy add a unique vibe to her massage technique. Her personality has already made her a St Pierre customers' favorite. Book your massage experience and come to meet her!
In the month of December our Spa will be open every day during regular hours except for the major holidays.
We will be closed on Sunday, December 24 and Monday December 25 for Christmas.
On New Year Eve our schedule will be reduced to half day. We will be closed on New Year Day.
With so many closing days in this month, please make sure to book in advance your massage session and don’t miss an opportunity to relax before the New Year checks in!
Did you know that traditional Sauna was born in Finland back in 7000 BC? Sauna benefits include detoxification, increased metabolism and blood circulation, weight loss, pain reduction, anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, improve sleep, stress management, and relaxation.
Unlike traditional saunas which use flame-stoked heat or steam to create hot air, infrared saunas use infrared light and infrared waves to create high heat. An infrared sauna does not heat the air directly like in a traditional sauna experience. Infrared sauna lamps and infrared energy allow you to feel the warmth directly on your skin and operate at lower temperatures. However, don't worry– you will still feel the warmth and benefits of the heat!

Infrared Sauna Suites
New to saunas and interested in building up a regular practice? It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the intense heat in a sauna at first. At St Pierre we offer customized programs that target specific results and have settings that match our customer’s preferences
Here are some tips to follow when using an infrared sauna:
- Start with 5-10 minutes in your sauna and slowly work your way up to longer sessions. It is a good idea to commence with lower temperatures and progressively increase it.
- Make sure to hydrate and drink fluids before, during, and after your trip to the sauna. Enjoy one of our complimentary electrolyte powder packs dissolved in Flowater filtered water.
- Wear comfortable and breathable clothing. We provide towels of different sizes for your comfort.
- Listen to your body and take breaks or leave the sauna if you feel too hot, uncomfortable, or dizzy. Our saunas are private and customers are welcome to enter and exit them as needed.
- Enjoy a complementary cold towel infused with essential oils at the end of your session!
